Has anyone recently traveled through Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) Check-in and found the airport check-in process easy to navigate? I’m planning a trip soon and want to know what to expect before arriving.
I’ve heard that the airport can get quite busy, especially during peak travel hours, so I’m wondering how early people usually arrive for their flights. For an international departure, arriving around three hours early seems reasonable, but I’d love to hear from travelers who have actually gone through the process.
I’m also curious about how smooth the baggage drop-off is and whether online check-in makes much difference. If you have already checked in online, can you usually save time at the airport, or do you still have to wait at the airline counter when traveling with checked luggage?
Another thing I’d like to know is how long security and immigration usually take. I’d rather arrive early and have some extra time than feel rushed.
